Thanks for responding. My great-grandfather was William Allan Kimble (married to Nancy Jane Day), born in 1840. His father was William Allan Kimble born in 1805 (married to Mary Ann Newman). So far, I have found six children of gggrandfather William and nine children of ggrandfather William. I do not see a David. In some of the records that I have found, there appears to be two William Kimbles in Grayson Co. in the 1800's. We are going to drive to KY in May to see if we can find additional info at the cemeteries. So far, have only been able to take Family Tree back to 1805. If I do find a link between us, I will share any information that I may find.
