Jesse was a bit older than William (Henry's father)...William and Jesse were the only two male Goodwin's (I think) in the Graves 1840 census...William's Susanna married John West in 18539 (Graves Co. Marriage index)...so Wiliam passed sometime before then...It's interesting having two Susanna Goodwin's in Graves in 1840 and 50....but I am 99.999% certain they were not the same individuals.
