I think you are probably right and that is Susan Goodwin on the 1850 census. An interesting item in the 1860 census of Graves county (book) lists a Susannah Goodwin age 65, widow of Jesse Goodwin who died Nov 23, 1857. Do you think this could be the father of your Henry Goodwin? They are in household #726. In Household #727 is an Eliza C. (Goodwin) Murrell age 35, head of household. Listed in her household is Jesse age 18, John age 16, Mary age 12, William age 8 and Goodwin, William E. age 37. I wish you luck with your research and if I can be of any help, let me know. Ardilla
