I am researching the family of Laura J. Evans b. l856 IA and Adam Newton Mitts b. l85l d. l9l5. dau. Lily Sebastian Mitts. Laura would be a great aunt of mine. She was the dau. of William H. Evans and Elizabeth Jane Ruggles Evans b. in either Keokuk County or Jefferson County, Ia. I am hoping this is my Laura that I have been researching for several years with not much success. She apparently was mar. on Oct. l, 1879 in Grant, KY. If anyone could help me I would sure appreciate it.
