Am researching the 1900 era for Buena Vista, Garrard County, Kentucky. I.E. the Blacksmith shop, store, and post office at the intersection of 152 and Pollys Bend Road. 3 brothers, James Evans Scott was blacksmith and A.T. Scott and A.D. Scott were merchants. I have seen the deed where the James Evans Scott family owned the property for Blacksmith shop and store. Other families along the road were Lane, Preston, Ruble, Reynolds, Brickey, Christopher, Green, Sechrest, and Askins. Anybody have relatives or stories of that community in that Era.
