The book "Cemetery Records of Lancaster [Cemetery], KY 1857-1994" lists a burial for Ash Goins as follows: He is buried in plot #12-32-5 (Section 12, Lot 32, Grave #5). There is no stone there for him. He was born January 1861 and died 6 January 1947. The author indicates that where a stone was not available, he used obituaries, funeral home records and in some cases family histories.

Other people buried in the same plot include Ash Goins Jr. NS b 12 Jan 1904-5 Dec 1989, Michael Dean Goins NS 2 Mar 1955-4 Mar 1955, Lou Goins 16 Mar 1875-17 Mar 1941, Fount Goins 1905-26 Jan 1935, Pattie Mae G.
