I now know that America Redman's maiden name was SAMUEL. She also had a daughter named Calista born October 1, 1837 who later married Henry Clay BUELL. America's other child was James Willis Redman, born about 1840 and died August 14, 1864 at the 2nd Battle of Dalton, Georgia as a member of the 7th Kentucky Cavalry, Company B (Union)
America and James are buried in the New Warsaw Cemetery in Warsaw, Gallatin County, KY.
