I am looking for any information on the families of James Hickman and Elizabeth Elston. They were married in Gallatin Co. Ky. August 17, 1825. I quite a bit of information on the Elston family, but am basically stuck on James Hickman. I have information on what happened to him after his marriage, but basically nothing before the marriage. Both of them died in White Co. Indiana and are buried there. Recently I found a record in the IGI that lists his father as Daniel Hickman of Gallatin co. It also says he had a brother named Thomas.
James was born March 9, 1803 in Kentucky. Any help on this family would be GREATLY appreciated. Also, there may be some connection to Carroll co. but I don't have much there either.
