Can anyone connect up the Robert Scott who lived in Gallatin Co KY at the end of his life? He fought in the Rev War in VA, and received a pension in Gallatin Co KY which began in 1833 when he was 70. I assume he died in Gallatin Co KY.
I believe that this Robert Scott may be the father of my ancestor Thomas Scott who married Elizabeth Jones March 3, 1802 in Pulaski Co KY. Robert Scott signed the marriage bond as witness, as did Elizabeth's parents Nicholas and Martha (Moore) Jones. All were present in the 1800 Pulaski Co KY census.
After their marriage my Thomas Scott accompanied Nicholas Jones and several from the Moore family to Rutherford, then Lincoln Co TN. It does not appear that Robert Scott went with them to TN
Any help greatly appreciated.
