I am researching the McKinney's who were known to be living in this county at some point during their lifetime.
Levi C. McKinney who was married to Elizabeth Estes. Both Levi and Elizabeth originate from the Estill County, KY area. I believe that Elizabeth (Estes) McKinney died ca 1874 - 1880, location of death not known.
Levi C. McKinney is shown on the 1880 census with a wife named Minerva unknown, they were married ca March 1880.
Levi C. McKinney's Mexican War Military Pension file indicates another marriage to a Mary Black in 1889. The marriage took place in Louisville, KY.
