The 1880 census for Fulton Co. shows John Stephenson age 29, Eliza age 30, James age 21 (brother), John age 9, Tempa age 3. Eliza's maiden name may have been Fowler. Tempa may be a nick name for Temperance. Tempa's middle name was Ellar and she spelled her first name as Temppi in 1925. She married Wylie (William) Meeks in 1892 (he died in Memphis, TN in 1900) and Robert Henry George in 1903 in Yell Co., AR. Looking for any information about this family.
