Extracted from Fulton County (KY) History, 1983, p. 478.

" . . . John Luther "Casey" Jones. Born in a southeastern, unidentifed, remote spot in Missouri 3-14-1864, he was the son of schoolmaster Frank F. and Ann Nolen Jones. He was the first in a family of five: Eugene, Frank, Phillip, and Emma. All four boys were engineers on the ICG

The Joneses moved near Hickman in Fulton County by the steamboat "The New Mary Houston" in 1876 and to Cayce in 1880 near the Mobile and Ohio Railroad. . . ."

You can find them in the 1880 Fulton Co. KY census here:

Source Citation: Year: 1880; Census Place: Hickman, Fulton, Kentucky; Roll: T9_414;

Hope this helps.
