Lodgeston Twp. was on Ky. Hwy. 94 about halfway between Fulton and Cayce, Ky. This Twp. faded away when the railroad was built abt 1873. The town of Alexander, later to become Crutchfield, was built on the railroad, and only the two room schoolhouse at Lodgeston remainrd in my lifetime. Decendents of the W. V. Little family still own a farm about 1/2 mile west of Crutchfield.
