Beverly - Hoyt Barnett's Obit
Fulton Daily Leader - 2 Sept. 1977
Hoyt Allen Barnett, 49, former state representative, Hickman, died yesterday morning. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Fulton Hospital at 7am.
Born in Hickman, Nov. 3, 1927, he was the son of James C. and Lillie Marie Craddock Barnett, who survive.
Other survivors include two sons, Lawrence Allen Barnett and Marty Shane Barnett, both of Hickman, a daughter, Martha Ann Edwards, Hickman and a brother, George C. Barnett, Hickman.
Services will be at 2pm Saturday at Chaney Funeral Chapel, with Brother Jack London officiating. Interment will be in the Hickman City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Chaney Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be Bob Belt, Bobby Belt, Jimmy Barber, Kenneth Poe, Edfar Ferrell and Bill Guess.
