Thanks, Don. The Kentucky Death Index had him listed as Julian Reed. I ordered the certificate because I am looking for a Julian Reed. After I received it, it was obvious this was not my man but I was still curious about him. The handwriting on the certificate is not great and it really does look like Julian - until you know better. Now that I know it is actually Lucian, I can see it. Thanks for all your help.
