Can anyone tell me the date that Henry Mattern began using the stamping that said "Mattern's New Studio 332 & 334 Main Street Frankfort, KY Duplicates can be had at any Time" on the photographs produced in the studio?
The image had two scrolls at right angles to each other, wiht a third banner at an angle under the horizontal banner. The horizontal scroll said "Mattern's" the angled banner read "NEW STUDIO" the upright scroll banner had a design on it, and there were flowers surrounding the image.
This will help me identify the subject of the picture.
