Wash family of Franklin County
Posted by: Paul Skinner (ID *****2704) Date: April 18, 2002 at 08:05:33

I have some info on this family but am seeking for more.
Benjamin Wash and his spouse Jemima Peyton-Wash were in Washington county in the early 1800's. Benjamin died there about 1819. I have no date for Jemima.

John Peyton Wash, their son, was born 5/26/1788 in Nelson county. He married Rebecca Watkins in Franklin County, 17 Apr 1808.

Bishop Allen Wash, 25 Feb 1819, possibly Anderson County, Kentucky married Mary Jane Utterback 28 Feb 1850, Anderson County, Kentucky before emigrating to Illinois.

If anyone has more info on these individuals, would sure like to hear from you.
