I am a descendant of Powells and Taylors, in our document is the following: Do you have a Patsey Jarrell and a Marie Jarrell in your family?

72. DEWEY DON8 MARCUM (LUCILLE7 WILSON, MARY D.6 MCCRARY, JAMES FRANKLIN5 MCCREARY, PETER4 MCCRARY, GEORGE3, GEORGE2, JOSEPH1) was born August 25, 1953 in Lee County, Virginia. He married THERESA THOMAS October 8, 1981 in Lee County, Virginia, daughter of MARION THOMAS and PATSEY JARRELL.

Children of DEWEY MARCUM and THERESA THOMAS are:

i. STEVEN9 MARCUM, b. April 21, 1987, Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

ii. ASHLEY R. MARCUM, b. September 1, 1990, Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

They are also related to the McCrary/McCreary families. The McCrary family came from Ulster, Ireland.

75. CATHY8 MARCUM (LUCILLE7 WILSON, MARY D.6 MCCRARY, JAMES FRANKLIN5 MCCREARY, PETER4 MCCRARY, GEORGE3, GEORGE2, JOSEPH1) was born February 21, 1961 in Lee County, Virginia. She married EDDIE WAYNE THOMAS, son of CHARLES THOMAS and MARIE JARRELL.
