Floyd County Death Records

Hi everyone!

Im looking for someone who lives in Floyd County that might be able to track down a rather hard to find death record for me. In 1935, my grandmother had a child that the other children of her family do not remember (they were really young at the time). Im pretty certain this child died before my father's earliest memory in 1942 and I would say he died before 1937 when my father was born. I have copy of his birth certificate and it is not a still born certificate, which, according to tradition means that the child at least breathed on his own for an hour or so after birth. I don't know what if any type of records exist about his death but since my grandparents lived in Floyd County most of their lives, I would assume that the child died there. If anyone could find out where in Floyd County old death records are kept and let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
