Jerry, The Ringo Family History reflects George Pinckney Carpenter and Jeanette Thompson Ringold (Ringo) had 7 children:
George Willard Carpenter, b. 7-29-1868
Ollie Nora Carpenter, b. 8-26-1871
Alma Elizabeth Carpenter, b. 1-13-1874
Mary Maud (Molly) Carpenter, 1-25-1877
Addie Serena Carpenter, b. 4-17-1880
Elvira Mildred Carpenter, b. 12-24-1881
Infant son (died at birth)
Our records reflect Jeanette Ringold (Ringo) died 7-24-1922
(79 yr, 7 m, 11da inscribed on the tomb stone in the Hazel Dell Centary 4 miles east of Clearmont, Mo
Jeanette Thompson Ringold (Ringo) was dau/of George Ludwell Ringold (Ringo). His parents were John Ringo and Nancy Ann Harrison. For some reason George changed his name from Ringo to Ringold. George Ringold (Ringo) was born 10-14-1807 in Nelson Co, Ky and died 7-15-1877 and is buried in the Pleasant View (Coleman Cem) west of Pickering, Mo, Union Twp, Nordway Co. George was a famer, shoemaker and bricklayer. In 1860 he moved to the vicinity of NW of Pickering, Mo where he operated a wayside Inn. There are no traces of his inn now.
