It looks like your ancestor was Sarah Tribby of Fleming Co., Ky., but not the Sarah Tribby born in 1822 to my ancestors Jason and Sarah Tarvin Tribby.

There was another Tribby family recorded in the 1840 Fleming Co. census, headed by William Tribby, and I believe "your" Sarah comes from that group.

I put together an Ancestry.com family tree, "Tribbys of Kentucky," that contains entries for "my" Tribbys plus several other branches that I haven't been able to connect. Please take a look at
