Francis Portis Goddard wife Nancy could be Vicory?

I am trying to find the first wife of Francis Portis Goddard b. 1797 in Mason Co. Kentucky. His first wife Nancy was born about 1797. They had the following children: Reason Goddard b. 1816; Martha Goddard b. 1818; Emily Goddard b. 1820; and Joshua Goddard b. 1822. Nancy died between 1822 and 1824 when Francis married Margaret Groves the daughter of Fredrick Groves. Was Nancy's maidden name Vicory??? One of her step-granddaughters was named Nancy Vicory Goddard in 1856 in Cammeron, Illinois. She was the daughter of Francis Goddard and Lucinda Morey. Emily Goddard married Josiah Brooks Fletcher and both drown in the Mississippi River in 1853. Since Francis and Lucinda Goddard took Emily's daughter Martha Anna Fletcher to raise, could Nancy have been named in honor of the other grandmother???
