Mary, I am researching my gr,gr,gr-grandfather Nathan White who married Louisa DeHart in 1849 Morgan Co Ky. I believe this was his second marriage. He was born abt. 1798 VA. I am trying to identify his parents. I have seen references to a son of your John White named Nathan. Right time and near vacinity. Do you have any additional information on this Nathan son of John? I found what looks to be him in census records 1820, 1830 and 1840 in Fleming Co. He then disappears and my Nathan White appears in 1850 in Morgan Co as a Laborer in the household of Elizabeth DeHart and daughters Louisa (his wife) and Letha. A Nathan White purchased 50 acres in Morgan Co in 1831. I tracked a younger Nathaniel White (born abt. 1824) in census years 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 Bath Co near Owingsville. My Nathan White ends up living next door to this Natanial White in 1880 near Polksville Bath Co Ky. Can't help but wonder if this is a son from first marriage and if your Nathan is my Nathan. Anything you can add one way or the other would be helpfull. Thanks.
