Melissa:
There were 5 Tribby households in Fleming County in 1860, and 4 in 1870. Perhaps one of them has a son John in the Census.
Many of the Fleming County Tribbys were descendants of Jason Tribby 1784-1840 and Sarah Tarvin 1790-1841. They were married 16July, 1807 and I show them having 15 children between 1808 and 1832. I show three of them marrying Myers, and 1 marrying a Carnahan. I can run the Fleming County film if you don't live close enough to do it. Sarah Tarvin was born in Frederick County Maryland. She was the daughter of George Tarvin 1744-1813 and Sarah Cracraft 1747-1806. Let me know if I can help.
