You may want to look into Picadome High School. It started as a one room school in 1889 on Harrodsburg Rd. It became Little Picadome in 1912. My Aunt and Uncle graduated in 1933 and my father in 1939. Both the Lexington Public Library and the Special Collection Library of University of Ky. have given me information and old photos. I actually have my father's diploma and the clipping from newspaper of when he graduated. Picadome High School became Lafayette High School in Fall of 1939 and is now located at 401 Reed Lane in Lexington, Ky.
