The Daniel Orr Family

Hello,

I am researching information about a Daniel Orr who had two children who were: Mary Orr and Rebecca Orr. A manuscript that has been in my family possesion is quite interesting, it states, "Mary Orr a daughter of Daniel Orr was a near relative of Mary Todd Lincoln."

The manuscript also states the following, "Marry Orr married John Morgan, son of William Morgan. John secondly married a Jane Wasen, after the death of his first wife Mary Orr Morgan. John and Jane were somehow seperated and John Morgan married again. The third marriage was to, Rebecca Orr, the second daughter of Daniel Orr."

The marriage of John and Mary (Orr) Morgan was held November 26, 1808, in Fayette County, Kentucky. I believe that the Orr's were from Fayette County, Kentucky. The Morgan side of the Orr family has been a succesful line to trace. Luckly, there have been books and manuscripts already written up on this side of the Orr family.

Any information on this Orr family of Fayette, County, KY, will be greatly appreciated. I am also searching for a possible connection to Mary Todd Lincoln as well. Thanks for your time,

Jeremy Tuggle
