HUNDLEY 10 brothers came from Ireland to VA

The first hundley to come over may have been Godfrey who cam on the ship Primrose in 1635 from England. VA Matthews, Gloucester, Amelia, Pittsylvania, Orange & Mecklenburg ctys in VA to NE TN to Eastern KY (Morgan & Maggoffin counties) to Dayton, OH.

Nelson HUNDLEY - connections to Hanover Cty VA and Henry and Fayette Counties in KY

Son Zachari HUNDLEY married Prudence METCALF of Lexington area. They lived in Lexington KY
       sons: 1. Charles (b KYdied 12/14/1903 age 79 in Richmond KY 57 on 1880 census parents b                             VA) Livery stable
                     married Nancy J. KEISER (B KY 55 on 1880 census f KY m VA)
                     daus: Addie Scott (never married) (20 on 1880 census)d 5/9/1911 age 47)
Alice (25 1880 census)
                     sons: William S HUNLEY (5/21/1921 age 61) paralysis       
                      Charles (24 1880 census - livery man)

1797 John Metcalf on Bourbon County tax lists
FYI Nancy Ann Metcalf married William Stamps. Son William of Bourbon Co KY. Son John moved to St. Louis, Daughters Mary and Nancy.

1810 Bourbon County Census p 127 males 1 under 10, 1 (16-26), 1 (26-45), 1(over 45) females, 2 (10-16), 1 over 45.

1880 census William Hunleigh age 30 b KY artist both parents born in KY. Said to be an orphan. Believed to live in Georgetown. 3rd ward.

Allen HUNDLEY married Mary Elizabeth YATES of Bourbon County KY on 24 Dec 1839 by Minister of the Gospel Edward Darnaby, Jr. She was 52 in th 1880 census.

                            Interred by Mrs. Paul BAILER
                            married Mollie Bailer
                            children: Daisy Elizabeth died 12/30/1914 age 7
                                    James Francis (b6/29/1976 age 67 years)
        2. Susan A HUNDLEY (b 1848 in Athens KY DIED 1/10/1920)
              married William T ROBERTSON Jr. b 1846 in Scotland
                     probably Bridge of Urr in Dumphries
              They lived in Lexington, Fayette County KY
              children:        1. Wilber married a QUINN and worked for the Herald Leader in                                                  Lexington
                            2. Mazzie married a REESE of Cincinnati
                            3. David
                            4. Sam may have moved to Cincinnati
                            5. Jessie MC CUBBIN (b May 12, 1879 d 1/31/1946)
                                   married Gottleib Wilhelm LINDER KREBS URFER

The name Johnson connects some way.
