Alexander McIntire and Margaret Clark

In a book "History of Poweshiek County" which is IA I found info on Alexander and it says he was born in TN and accompanied his parents to Kentucky, "the family home eing one of the first established in the present city of Lexington." it states also that he became the owner of a large plantation and a number of slaves. Later he moved to Montgomery Co, IN and farmed there. It also lists a son John born in Ky abt 1801 who married Jane McMains, and their son James E who married Catharine Wilson. I believe this to be the McIntire's who are the grandparents to my Margaret E Rigdon/Ragan, and raised her from a very young age. She was born near Lexington in 1827. Does anyone have any other children for Alexander and Margaret? Please will share all I have, I really need help.
