Pat: Here is some additional info from the book that I mentioned in my other message. I thought it was so interesting. Remember that this book is very old.
"From 1747 forward to 1908 the facts are taken from records in family Bibles or other written data; hence beginning with the birth of William Tyler" ---and then it goes on to name the children of William and Letty saying that the information came from a J. Z. Tyler in March of 1889 and in converstion with Benj G. Tyler, youngest brother of John W. Tyler and from later notes of J. Z. Tyler at Dayton O., in Sept 1893. I think that is so great!!!
Anyway-- it goes on to name the children and info about them:
"Charles, b. May 27, 1775, lived and died (Feb 10,1860) near Eminence, Ky., and had the following children:"
to be continued Gloria Tyler Taylor
