The tragedy of Barbara White in the late 1800's

A couple of years ago I went back to visit family in Estill. My uncle ran this story by my. I have recently been able to come up with old newspaper clippings about this. In these clippings was a picture of her tombstone where it is said she is buried in a cemetery off of Oppossum Run. The only cemetery I am aware of in this area is Amos Richardson. She doesn't seem to be here. So I'm wondering if anyone else may know. It also is said that her mother was cherokee indian and she to was murdered. Her father is supposed to be a man with the last name of White. Barbara was married to Wiley White son of Stephen and Sara Freeman White. Barbara was clubbed to death and the man they say that was responsible was hung from the bridge by a mob that broke into the county jail and retrieved him. Barbara would be in my family tree and would like to know where she is resting today. Any and all info is greatly appreciated. Tina
