I am looking for information/documentation on Philip Granville Lady. He was Born 7 Jan 1758 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania as stated in his military service papers - Philip Lady VA S30529 parts 1 & 3.

His parents i have been told were Peter & Ann Lady.

He was Married to Elizabeth ______ Born abt 1765 in Virginia & Died 2 Apr 1836 in Estill, Kentucky.

In 1781-1783 Philip served in the Washington Co., Pennsylvania Militia - Private in 5th Batallion 3rd Company 8th Class.

In 1782 Philip & Jacob Lady inherit the Land of Peter Lady - 400 acres at Kings Creek, Yohogania Co., Virginia (Now Washington Co., Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania Archives, Third Series, Volume 3, Proprietary Rights Page 534 23 Apr 1780

On 12 Nov 1784 Jacob Leady of Washington Co., PA sold to Philip Leady 89 3/4 Acres (Estate records, 1781-96, and deed records, 1782-85, in Washington County, Pennsylvania)

In 1792 i have been told there was some sort of Land transaction in Washington Co., PA.

On 13 Feb 1793 in Washington, Pennsylvania Philip was Working Ground for Isaac Morris: Deed Book 1-1, page 527

In 1794 i have been told Philip is on a Tax Record in Amwell Township, Washington Co., Pennsylvania.

On 2 Sep 1817 Philip Lady Bought 100 Acres of Land in Estill Co., Kentucky Bennett Clark for $150 - located on the Rockhouse Fork of Sturgeon Creek - Book B Page 318

1820 U.S. Census shows Philip & family in Ravenna, Estill Co., Kentucky.

In 1827 in Estill Co., Kentucky Philip bought 50 Acres at Buffalo Creek. Deed Book Y, page 473

1830 U.S. Census shows Philip & family in Clay Co., Kentucky.

On 8 Aug 1831 - in Estill Co., Kentucky, Philip Lady sold 50 acres to Lemuel Wilson for $50 - located on Buffalo Creek - Book E Page 150

In May 1834 - in Estill, Kentucky, Philip appeared in court - On this 20th day of May 1834 personally appeared in open court before the Justice of said court now setting Phillip Lady a resident of Estill County, Kentucky, age seventy-four

In 1834 - in Estill, Kentucky, Philip bought 50 Acres of land at Buffalo Creek. Deed Book D2, page 199 (Also recorded at the State Land Office, Frankfort, Kentucky.)

It looks like they had 7 children: Sally, Philip, Virginia, William, Solomon, Elizabeth & Ann.

Philip Lady died 23 May 1835 in Estill Co., Kentucky. I have no idea where he was buried.

Any information on Philip Lady, wife & family, or Philip's parents would be greatly appreciated.
