Hi Sandra. I may have been in touch w/you years ago, as I was w/somebody regarding George Clem. I was looking at records in Lexington, and I discovered that it was my ancestor Eliza Shipp that was married to a George Clem. However, she was married to George Mathews and having his children by late 1830's. I found a will for George Clem in 1830, the same year they were married. I think this was the son of your George or some other George that was married to Eliza Shipp, and he died shortly after their marriage. I noticed that Jane mentioned her ancestors parents were George and Martha. Maybe this is the second wife of George Sr.
