NEED HELP FROM FOLKS IN THE ESTILL CO AREA.
I HAVE SEVERAL STONE WALLS IN MY FAMILY AND WOULD LIKE TO GET PAST THEM WITH YOUR HELP.
1. My grandmother, Rhoda Belle Land Wagers father was Sylvester Land. I am trying to find proof of his father and siblings. The late Coral Babb put out some information on him but it doesn;t jive. No offense meant to Coral but dates and such don't fit. CAnnot be certain that James Land was his father. Cannot find a marriage that fits. Sylvester lived all his life as far as I can tell on Miller's Creek and was married to Nancy Tuggle. I have pictures of the family. He had 3 sons, Dr. James Alfred Land married to Flossie Craig, Robert Jackson Land, married to my father's cousin Lena Bicknell and Edwin Sherman Land, married to Bessie Noland. He had 6 daughters and I have inforamtion on all of them.
PLEASE HELP.
2. Andrew Kelly was the father of my greatgrandmother Mouren Kelly Bicknell, married to Hiram Bicknell from Red Lick, Ky. His wife was Dolly Coleman and their property I am told was along the Ky River, at Sugar Creek watershed. He had sons, Green Butler, James, Hardin, Turner and William (Wylie) and daughters Anna, Elvina, Delia and my grandmother of course. Would like info on where property was located and for sure the names of his children, who they married and where thry might have gobe from Ky.
3: I AM ALSO TRYING TO CONNECT SYLVESTER LAND TO JOHN AND NIGHTINGALE LAND., IF THERE IS A CONNECTION NOT SURE. DOES ANYONE KNOW NIGHTINGALE'S MAIDEN NAME. SHE SUPPOSEDLY MARRIED JAMES LAND AND THEN HIS BROTHER JOHN IN NC. HELP
If I could get some answers to these things I could go to my grave giving my children everything they could know about their families and it would also be my pleasure to get my information on the family out there for everyone.

BICKNELL, WAGERS, LAND, KINDRED, GENTRY, AND MANY MORE FROM ESTILL CO.
