I am trying to find information about Jackson Hale and wife, Minverva Tackett who were living in Station Camp, Estill County in 1880. Jackson was listed as 44 in 1880 and born in Tennessee. His wife, Minerva (maiden name Tackett) was 27 in 1880 and she was born in Virginia. On the 1880 census, they have listed the follwing children: Elizabeth, (age 14, born in TN), James (age 12, born in TN), John (age 9, born in KY), Nancy A. (age 6, born in KY), Margaret (age 4, born in KY). I understand that this family were originally from the Campbell/Claiborne area of Tennessee.
Jackson Hale may have been married first to Serrelda Jones on October 19, 1864.
I am interested in James, the son of Jackson Hale and Minverva Tackett. I am trying to find the parents of James L. Hale, born in Tennessee sometime around 1868. He married Nancy Walden in Campbell County, Tennessee. He named his first two children, Jackson and Minnie Hale. He may have an older brother named William.
Any help with information about this family would be greatly appreciated.
