Kathryn, John Cox and Judith Sexton Cox were my ggggg grandparents. William Cox was my gggg grandfather. My father's family was from Lawrence Co. and my mother's mother's family was from Morgan Co. which is where Emily was born. My father is the descendant of the Coxes but my mother's ancestors were Lewis' and Richard Scott Wells' grandfather, Edmond Wells is buried only a few feet away from my mother's ancestor Thomas Lewis in the Green-Lewis Cemetery in Morgan Co. Good luck with your research! Wendy
