Dear Susan,
There isn't alot of marriage for Elliott Co. because they all burned in the Court House fire in the 1950's. There has been a few collected and are in the History of Elliott Co. KY II, there are several Sparks marriages that were transcribed long before the courthouse burned by Ira Paulus Ison. Several have come from the J.W.Kegley Diary and then many people sent in their family marriage date if they had them. I have a copy of all and would be glad to look up any family names you are researching. As for deaths Kentucky started recording death's in 1911 and Roots Web has the best search engine for looking up Kentucky death certificates. Here is the address:
