H. H. Crane, Caroline Crane, and Unknown Alley

In 1882, H. H. Crane signed marriage bond for Mrs. Callie Alley and Charles O. Cox in Daviess Co., Ky.

I have several reasons to believe that H. H. Crane is the same person as Henry H. Crane born about 1815 near Perryville, Mercer Co., Ky (now Boyle Co.).

As to Mrs. Callie Alley, I have reason to believe that she is the same person as Caroline Crane, born Perryville, Boyle Co., Ky in 1857 who is second cousin once removed to Henry H. Crane.

Mr. Alley, the first spouse of Mrs. Callie Alley, has no other identity. The only possible candidate I find is one James Alley, age 23 at the time of the 1880 census.

He was enumerated as a farm laborer living in the household of William Sourbeer of Masonville, Daviess Co., Ky.

I would really apperciate hearing from anyone who can shed some light on H. H. , Callie, or Mr. Alley. I have lots of information on the Kentucky Cranes which I will gladly share.
