Hi Mike,

Have you found any more information? I do have some documents I would be happy to share with you. To mention a few documents besides marriage bonds, census records, etc:

John Edward Monarch's obit (1938)

T.J. Monarch's obit

Benjamin Franklin Monarch's military records and photo of his tombstone. Benjamin served with Morgan's men.

I am a stickler for documentation and follow in the footsteps of my husband's cousin, Maydee Brite Crawford, who actually went to courthouses, cemeteries, etc for documentation. Maydee was Melissa Jane Monarch's great gradndaughter so there is some oral history as well.
