Joseph, the baptismal records are why I thought it was the same Julian Fenwick. That is, until I got the following information:

The 1850 Union County Census shows a Julian Fenwick living with her family:

738       Fenwick, Robert              45       M              DC
              E.K              30       F
              Julian              10       F
              George J.               8       M
              E.M.               6       F
              Thomas               4       M

In the 1860 Union Co. census Julia A. is married to A.J. Willett. They do not appear in the UC 1870 census

369       Willett,       A.J.              25       M              KY
              Julia A.              20       F              KY
              Georganna        1       M              KY

From the Edward Willett book by Mary Louise Donnelly (1999) p.108

1 Andrew Jackson Willett 1835 - d ?
m +Julianna "Ann" M. Fenwick 1839 - 1927
- she died 18 Jan 1927 in Benton Co. Arkansas
m: September 04, 1858
Prior to 1880 they moved Randolph County, Illinois, and later to Rogers, Arkansas

........ 2 George Andrew Willett 1859 - b: September 10, 1859 in Union County KY.
........ 2 William Robert Willett 1861 - b: September 27, 1861 in Union County KY.
........ 2 Ignatius Aloysius Willett 1864 - b: July 31, 1864
........ 2 Mary Agnes Willett b: Jan 1873
........ 2 Teresa Frances Willett b: Mar 1876
........ 2 Julian Willett b 14 Nov 1880 d 26 Nov 1880 in Randolph County, IL

This Julianna "Ann" Fenwick does not appear to be the one who married Benj Gough in Dec 1864. However, the nine year gap in children is interesting. Usually, they pop out every two years.

The entry goes on to state that Julia Ann Fenwick's parents were Robert Fenwick and Elizabeth Birch. That is all the book has on this family. Wild goose chases can sometimes be productive so don't give up!!

Our Julianna was born about 1841 and her father was from Breckinridge Co. The other JA's father was from District of Columbia (DC)? More probably he was from North Carolina (NC).

"December 28, 1864 - Benedict J. Gough, 27, farmer, 2nd marriage, b. Meade County, Kentucky, resident of Daviess County, Kentucky, (father and mother b. Meade County), to Juliann M. Fenwick, 23, (father b. Breckinridge County, Mother b. Kentucky ); John O. Clark,

Unless the information in the Edward Willett book is incorrect, there has to be two JA Fenwicks. All I can figure is they were cousins and an important person in their family was named Julianna.

Isn't this fun? :)
