Hello there! I will have to look this up, my Hinton family owned hundreds of acres in that area in the 1800s. I believe that is how the road recieved its name. But dont take that to the books, let me double check first then i will get back to ya. My Grandmother still lives on a very small portion of that land located on Karns Grove Road.
