I am interested in any information on, and/or descendants of, James, Edward and Thomas Monarch, brothers who came to Daviess County from Washington Co. ca. 1835. Sons of Elizabeth and Francis Monarch. Edward, my great-grandfather, was born in 1796 (no mistake here) in St. Mary's Co., MD, married first Eleanor Beaven/Bivan/Bevan in Washington Co. 1816, four known daughters; m. 2nd Mary Frances (Wheatley) Lehigh, a widow, by whom he had six children. Related to Mattingly, Wheatley, others. I have quite a lot of information to share.
