The writing in the record must have been pretty bad. Harold Bishop Morgan in his Daviess County marriages compilation has this as J. W. (Jerjie?) Loyd and Aria Hall, married 23 Nov 1905. Surety F. W. Thurber. The original record is in Book 14, Page 410.
Given how often surnames were altered in Daviess County I would not be surprised that the groom went by the surname Lloyd at some time.
