W.C. Daugherty and wife Gertie, are listed in the Ohio County, KY census, as living in a place called Select. Their children at that time were Courtney and Carmel, both males. WC is listed as a merchant.
The census record has been mistyped as WA Daugherty, but when you view the actual page, it is clear to me that it is it a C, not an A.
I did not see a 1930 listing in a brief search, but if you believe this to be the correct family and ask me to do so, I could look further.
