Watson Scott b 1823, dies after 1880 marries just before 1851 Sarah Ellen Russell b 1831 in Ky.
They have 10 known children
His wife dies in Van Zandt County, texas in 1925... as does most of his children.
Henry C. Scott b Ky 1836 also is in Van Zandt County by 1860, married to a Sarah Elizabeth unknown also born in Kentucky in 1836.
Henry has his first child in Van Zandt county in Feb of 1860 so I assume he married this Sarah in Cumberland Kentucky.
Henry and Sarah also stay in Van Zandt County.
Whether Watson and Henry C. are brothers or not they certainly were very close...
I have no proof that the C in Henry's name stands for Clay.
Dad gum it I sure would like to find out....grin
Milda
