I know little about my grandmothers side of the family. However, a great aunt who recently passed left me this information.
My grandmother was Thelma Minerva Margaret Smith and she married John D Smith. Thelmas parents who I am seeking information on was John William Smith and Sally Ann Maggard. Johns parents (Im assuming since it wasn't specified) were John Pikey Smith and Anna Venable. I have been able to find John William on a census record as JW and living in perry co. Any information concerning John Pikey Smith or Anna Venable would be greatly appreciated. My dad always told me my family was originally from Cumberland CO, so I thought someone here could help me most.
