JOHN DILLON OF HALIFAX, VA BORN 11-3-1777 AND DIED 7-1843 IN TN. HE MARRIED ELIZABETH WORD SHE WAS BORN 1782. I HAVE 9 KIDS LISTED FOR THEM:
WILLIAM, SUSANNAH, SHADRACH, JOSHUA, SARAH ANN, MARTHA, CALVN AND TENNESSEE.
. William DILLON and Elizabeth NUNN had abt. 7 children, including: Andrew J. DILLON, b. 1834 in Cumberland Co. KY, d. Sept 1864 from disease while in the Union Army.
William & Elizabeth also had son: (James)Ingram, b. in Cumberland Co KY. Ingram was in the Union Army & lost his leg as a result of injuries sustained at the battle of Bentonville (NC). He later m. Doxie Turner (in KY) and they moved to Texas.
