It appears that Rebecca Caroline Stockton, who married Robert B. Ferguson, was the daughter of Jesse 6 and Mary Ann (nee Braswell) Stockton, Jr. That would make Rebecca Caroline 7 Stockton the granddaughter of Jesse 5 Stockton, Sr., and the great granddaughter of Smith Creek John 4 Stockton. I have just e-mailed you a transcription of the 30 May 1825 deed from the heirs of John Stockton to his son Jesse 5 Stockton, Sr., Luke Munsell's 1818 map of Kentucky that shows the location of Stockton's Valley, some information from Jack Ferguson's 1986 book including his plat map of Stockton's Valley, my Kentucky census records, and a few other items.
