My great grandmother and great grandfather both died in the 1950's in their 40's. For years we have been trying to find out when and where they were married. Recently my aunt was cleaning an found an old book where my grandmother had written that she had been married in Albany, KY. Is there some sort of public database or process a person can go through to get copies of marriage certificates without actually having to go to the courthouse. I live in another state and it would be impossible for me to get a copy in person. I would need to send off for it or find it online. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
