Adoniram Allen

I am researching Adoniram Allen of Clay County. According to what I have read he is the son of David Allen, Sr. (1714-1786) and brother of David Allen, Jr. (1761-1732). Since Adoniram was born near the New Hampshire line and David, Jr. was born in N. J.,

I have researched these areas and found an Adoniram born abt 1714 in Suffield, Hampshire Co., Mass./Now Conn.with a brother David, born Feb. 1713 and their father is David was born in 1675. David, Sr. settled at Squam or Squan River, Monmouth County, New Jersey about 1740.
David, Jr. disapears from the records in that area about 1755.

David,Sr, Jr. and Adoniram Allen first appears in the North Carolina records of the Moravians on August 24, 1767, when it is stated that Brother Mikach traveled to the Dan River to collect store debts and met David Allen's son, and several families from the Jersey's. This name of this son is not recorded. This is probably about the time the family arrived in the area. At this time in history this area was part of Rowan County.

Can anyone make a connection here or identify the family of Adoniram of Clay County?
