Hi -- Isaac Zane b. 1766 and Mary Stephenson/Stevenson (b. maybe 1772 in PA) were married in Clark Co. in 1795 -- the marriage record apparently states her father's name is William Stevenson.
I'm looking for any information on their parents or extended families out of Clark Co. This Isaac Zane does NOT seem to be the "famous" one who was b. 1753, although the two of them might have lived at the same time in Logan Co., OH in the early 1800s before the "famous" one died there in 1816 or so.
Isaac and Mary Stephenson Zane had several children, one of whom was named Squire D. Boone Zane -- probably knew of Daniel Boone, or Daniel's brother or father who were named Squire Boone. Other childrens' names were Isaac Jr., Ebenezer, William, John, Maxwell, Catherine and Lavina. I've also heard of a few other possible children.
Isaac & Mary Stephenson Zane moved from KY to Logan Co., OH around 1800, then moved with family to Cass Co., MI in 1833. Isaac died there in 1839 and Mary died there several decades later.
